The Conservative Friends of Bangladesh hosted their annual Eid and Summer reception at the House of Parliament Estates, Westminster on Tuesday 19th July 2016.
Party members and supporters gathered to celebrate with UK Parliamentarians and Bangladesh Government Minister and the Opposition. Over 100 guests enjoyed the south Asian delightful cuisine. Concise speeches were delivered on the benefits of Conservatives values from the British Bangladeshi community, and how relations are strengthened with links from the UK and Bangladesh.
The continuous partnerships with UK MP's and Bangladesh politicians was also reiterated during the speeches provided by Rt Hon Iain Duncan Smith MP, Anne Main MP, and CFoB Patron Rt Hon Nicky Morgan MP.

Bangladesh parliamentarian’s had the opportunity to thank the UK and the support provided to build on political ties from democratic parties in Bangladesh. Following our Bangladeshi traditions, crests were presented by Anne Main MP, President of CFoB and Rt Hon Iain Duncan Smith MP to the Bangladesh guests.

The event closed with thanks to supporters who travelled across the UK and Dhaka, the Community and London Tigers, who generously sponsored the crests.
